Other Ways to Support Refugees

The Refugee Orchestra Project has partnered with two organizations that support refugees internationally and domestically.
We have selected two routes for fundraising - one which focuses on support for refugees in crisis overseas and one which focuses on resettlement efforts for refugees who have relocated to the United States. Information about these organizations can be found below, and we encourage you to visit their websites.
Donations to IRC will support NY resettlement efforts, and donations to HIAS will support refugees in crisis overseas.

Relief Fund for Ukrainian Musicians

Donate
In conjunction with this event, Refugee Orchestra Project is supporting the Relief Fund for Ukrainian Musicians, which has been established at the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation in Germany. The fund provides urgent relief to the individual musicians of Ukraine in the form of €500 grants, with the priority focus on the areas that have been most affected by the war.The fund has so far helped over 40 Ukrainian musicians from the hard hit cities of Mariupol, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Severodonets, but have at least 50 more from these regions on the foundation's list. Much of their home cities turned into ruins, these musicians are very likely homeless and desperate for financial support. Bank charges have been canceled for processing these donations, meaning that the FULL donation amounts go straight to the musician.
